AY 2001 Scholarship Recipients

The Universities Space Research Association is pleased to announce that the following students have been selected to receive one of USRA's scholarships this year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our scholarship selection committee.

USRA Memorial and Education Scholarships

  • Sarah Johnson from Lexington, Kentucky has been awarded the James B. Willett Memorial Scholarship. Sarah will be a senior this fall at Washington University in St. Louis. She expects to graduate in 2001 with a triple major in Mathematics, Earth and Planetary Sciences and Environmental Studies.
  • Aleksandr Pelts, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been awarded the John R. Sevier Memorial Scholarship. Aleksandr will be a junior this fall at Drexel University in Philadelphia. He is majoring in Computer Science and expects to graduate in 2002.
