USRA members form the largest and most technically diverse university association serving the space research community. Our members are distinguished by their dedication to their own space research programs, and also through their commitment to and participation in the premiere organization supporting and sustaining collaborative space-related research and technology. USRA members value these activities not only for the new knowledge they create, but also for the outstanding human scientific and technical talent they develop.
Institutional Membership in USRA has grown from 48 charter colleges and universities to the current 104 member institutions. All of our member institutions have graduate programs in space sciences or engineering. Besides the 95 member institutions in the United States, there are two in Canada, two in England, one in Germany, two in Israel, one in Australia, and one in China.
