Three USRA Scholarships have been established to honor scientists and engineers who have been associated with USRA:
The USRA Education Scholarship Fund supports a general space-related scholarship that receives its funding from friends of USRA who support undergraduate science and engineering education.
The John McLucas Astronaut Safety Research Prize Fund is administered by USRA on behalf of the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation and the Space Shuttle Children's Fund for the purpose of studying and improving astronaut safety. The prize is intended to encourage and promote student research that examines means of enhancing crew safety on manned space flights.
The Funds are used for educational purposes and are administered by the USRA Board of Trustees.
