Over its 40-year history, USRA has been responsive to the needs and interests of the space science and technology community by providing a collaborative membership organization where universities and other research organizations may cooperate effectively with each other, with the United States government, and other entities to develop knowledge associated with space science and technology.

We are now in the process of developing a Strategic Plan that will closely align with our purpose, mission, and values while serving our constituencies in space science and technology and anticipating future directions in space exploration.
