Dr. Haiquan (Heidi) Guo is a senior scientist for developing materials for aerospace, industry, and commercial uses. Her current research Her research includes exploration of inorganic aerogels and organic aerogels, for example, aluminosilicate aerogels, YSZ aerogels, cyclo-olefin aerogels, and polyimide aerogel. The research is focused on trying to improve the flexibility, strength, and structure of the aerogels. She also fabricates aerogel thin films and aerogel blanket composites.
