Dr. William (Bill) Meyer is the Project Scientist for the Advanced Colloids Experiment (ACE) family of investigations. Bill is presently working with science teams from around the world to use a confocal (3D) microscope on the ISS to determine the behavior of families of colloids in µg and how to apply this scientific understanding to colloidal engineering. Bill is also a recognized expert in the field of surface light scattering, which is used to optically determine thermo-physical properties (such as surface tension and viscosity) at fluid interfaces.
